Asante Kotoko players are not physically strong on the field of Play.

Mr Leonard Akoto was appointed in July 2021 last year,but unfortunately he was sacked by the team CEO Yaw Amponsah in the beginning of the season premier league.

The Portuguese Trainer,Pedro Manual then took over from Akoto and he also couldn’t beat the task after he spend some months with the team.

The current Asante Kotoko technical team consist of Dr Prosper Ogum Nartey,the Head coach, David Oclo and John Eduafo are the assistant coaches for the club.

According to the technical structure here,there is no physical trainer for Kotoko and it’s gradually creating snag in the team, players on the field always look very tired.

Kotoko have lost 4 games this season and all came from a team with power and energy, Elmina sharks,King Faisal,Real Tamale United and Legon cities,All this teams have players with power and great energy,u could see they are physically strong.

Kotoko always struggled to beat physically strong team in the Ghana premier league.

Kotoko are on the top of the Ghana premier league table with 52 points.
