Ghana National Futsal team Coach Philip Boakye Praises and commend the Ghana Football Association for the substantial support given to the Futsal team for the Afcon Qualification.

The Ghana Futsal National team lost 4:0 to Ivory Coast in the first league which was played in Ghana at Cape Coast in the Central Region.

Coach Philip Boakye leads his boys to travel to Ivory Coast for the second league and counter where Ghana futsal team beat Ivory Coast 6:2 to qualify for the 2024 Afcon which will be held in Morocco on 7th April 2024 at Fas Rabat.

Coach Philip Boakye said in his live interview with the Accra base Vision 1 fm that it was very hard to deliver but the players showed class at Ivory.

The last time Ghana Futsal National team participated in the African Cup of Nations was 1996.

He also said,they really need support from the Government so that the team can work hard and deliver positively.

The Futsal team will start preparation at Prampram next week to enhance the playing body to be in a good shape a head of the upcoming tournament.
